Full Job Description

  • Grow your knowledge of an engineering business and what the role of a technician is by working as part of an Integrated Project Team

  • Develop practical skills in manufacturing and understanding key processes and technologies

  • Support early careers activities - our apprentices have the opportunity to work as STEM ambassadors in schools, colleges and universities

    During your first year you will spend time at college completing a Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, the foundation qualification of your apprenticeship. Upon completion, you will return to Leonardo to start your rotational placements within some of the following departments; Manufacturing Workshop, QA, Planning and Integration and Testing. During your second year you will attend college on a day release basis to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, the knowledge qualification of your apprenticeship and continue with your rotational placements., GCSE or equivalent GCSE 4 - 9 or grades A- C or equivalent (Grade 4 - 9 or grades A- C) Essential
