Full Job Description

  • Please note that this position is part-time for 18.5 hours a week with a pro-rata salary from £16,698 up to £17,814 per annum

  • East Kent Colleges Group are seeking an Early Years Apprenticeship Trainer to join the Apprenticeships team within EKC Training. In the role you will support, assess and track learners in a variety of environments towards timely completion, whilst also carrying out Internal Quality Assurance as required., Your role responsibilities will include providing assessment support for learners (this will include face to face, online and email support) at a variety of locations, including the delivery of underpinning knowledge. You will be liaising with employers and their representatives to ensure the timing and mode of delivery is appropriate to their needs and that of their apprentices.

    We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and creative individual to a supportive and dynamic team. The successful candidate will ideally hold, or be working towards, Assessor qualifications D32 -D33 or A1 or Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement, and have achieved or willing to work towards Internal Verifier qualification TDLB D34 or V1 or Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.

    You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of setting and achieving challenging targets, and experience of successfully supporting training and assessing in a variety of contexts.
