Full Job Description

As part of our workforce re-design within the Pain Management service we are looking to recruit a therapy assistant with a keen interest in the holistic approach to supporting people to live well with persistent pain and long-term health needs. In therapy services we recognise the importance of therapy assistants and how essential they are to the functioning of the team and to the wellbeing of our patients.

Situated within the multi-disciplinary Camden Pain service, this unique post will support the team which includes Advanced Practice Physiotherapists, Psychologists as well as Pain Management Consultants and specialist pain management physiotherapists. Some of the key pillars of holistic pain management include Physical activity, Eating for health, Sleep management and life style management which are all supported by a Health coaching approach.

If you are interested in a role supporting patients to achieve what matters to them by working with this Pain management team, and if you have experience of working with people with long term health needs, then this role will be of interest to you. We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic person to join our Pain Management team in this new and innovative role. Experience in healthcare delivery as a therapy or dietetic assistant would be advantageous.
