Full Job Description

PC Nursing are able to offer a 12 month fixed term contract in Bath, Somerset. Due to retirement, the practice are in search of an experienced Practice Nurse 5 days per week. The role of the Practice Nurse is to join an established and effective Multi-Disciplinary team in order to promote the best interests and care outcomes for the patients and carers.

General skills needed

  • Carrying out physical examinations and investigatory procedures (triage)

  • Chronic health conditions management;

  • Venepuncture

  • Requesting pathology tests

  • ECGs

  • New patient medicals/urinalysis

  • Ear Syringing

  • Removal of sutures and wound management.


    • Essential skills needed
  • Diploma in Diabetes.

  • Clinical skills - immunisation and vaccination, epilepsy, stoma care and wound care.
