Bench Joiner

As a Bench Joiner with A R Manley & Son Ltd, you will be responsible for crafting bespoke joinery products by cutting, shaping, and joining timber according to precise drawings and specifications. We make a huge variety of products, from doors and windows, to cabinetwork and staircases.

• Experience working as a Bench Joiner or in a similar position


• Trained to equivalent of NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds Advanced Craft


• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications


• Excellent knowledge of timber types, grades, and cuts, and their specific uses


• Proficient in using hand and power tools


• Experience in joinery machinery, including saws, spindle moulders, and planers


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work


• Good communication and teamwork skills


• Highly organised and able to manage time effectively


• Full driving licence
