Full Job Description

  • Bookkeeping work to trial balance for multiple clientsVAT return processing through MTD

  • Working papers for annual accounts preparation, FAR, Accruals, Prepayments etc

  • Communicating with clients and HMRC as required

  • Meeting deadlines for statutory filings

  • General office duties

  • Other ad hoc tasks as required

    They are looking for an experienced bookkeeper with varied experience who has an interest in the not-for-profit sector - prior experience of the sector is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided., AAT qualified or studying AAT

  • Experienced in a similar role, either small practice or SME business

  • Experience ideal but not necessary in using Microsoft 365, MyWorkpapers on-line audit system and IRIS

  • A self-starter

  • Great communication skills

  • A 'can do' attitude with the ability to seek answers

  • Good computer skills and ability to work with multiple software's

  • Professional and discretional
