Full Job Description

The Role: As Building Services Mechanical Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing small works Mechanical projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll do:

  • Responsibility for the project and contract management of small works Mechanical projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget, and ensuring site safety and quality are maintained.

  • Working closely with the Electrical division to successfully deliver joint projects.

  • Leading the team of employed and subcontracted engineers including direct line management, performance and development of the team.

  • Negotiating preferential rates with suppliers to ensure best prices are always achieved.

    Recognised industry qualifications.

  • Engineering/Installer background would be ideal.

  • Proven track record in the Mechanical services industry.

  • Must have sound knowledge of all mechanical systems including commercial and domestic plumbing and heating, natural and LPG Gas.

  • Up to date relevant knowledge of Building legislation, Gas Regulations, Water Regulations, H&S at Work Act.

  • Experience in specialist gas, oil and catering gases would be beneficial but not essential.

  • Able to read and understand tender drawings and specifications.
