Full Job Description

You will provide efficient and timely administration of cash and securities transactions in accordance with internal procedures and in line with service levels/client deadlines in a risk adverse and cost-effective manner and to accurately record and reconcile cash transactions.

What will you do?

  • Receive, prepare, execute, and administer all cash or security payment requests in accordance with internal procedures ensuring accuracy of all aspects of the transactions.

  • Ensure all work is produced and completed within the timelines contained in the service level agreements or client deadlines.

  • Ensure that all cash transactions are bookkept and reconciled accurately and in a timely fashion.

  • Provide support to the security transaction function, undertaking a variety of investment transactions such as stock purchases and sales, cash withdrawals and corporate actions.

  • To ensure all processed transactions are well documented and digitally filed.

  • Develop relationships with internal and external business units to enable effective investigation and solving of queries.

  • Reduce risk by adhering to established departmental standards, policies, and procedures always.

    Good communication, interpersonal and team player skills.

  • Detail oriented, showing due skill, care, and diligence.

  • Keep up to date with policies and regulations pertaining the business.

  • Integral risk awareness and ability to query transactional detail.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to manage your tasks and prioritize.

  • Customer centric focus.

  • Proven experience in fiduciary services.

  • Transactional banking/bookkeeping background.

  • Exposure and understanding of security transactions.

  • Administrative & payment execution skills.

  • Hold or be working towards a relevant professional qualification like ACCA, STEP or ICSA., Communication, Data Entry, Detail-Oriented, Email Services, Office Administration, Presentation Software, Spreadsheet Software, Teamwork, Time Management, Word Processing Software
