Full Job Description

We are in the process of establishing a new cementitious products terminal in the UK, located in Sheerness, Kent, which will serve the demand in the South East market. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cementitious Products Technical Sales Manager to support our sales efforts and oversee our quality management system, and maintain testing procedures to ensure excellence in our product offerings.

Your Role

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by leveraging technical expertise and product knowledge. Conduct regular meetings to understand client needs, provide technical guidance, and offer solutions to meet their requirements.

  • Product Representation: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, effectively communicating the technical features and benefits of our cementitious solutions. Demonstrate product performance and suitability for various applications.

  • Quality Management: Manage and oversee the company's quality management and testing procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in conjunction with the Operations Manager inc technical laboratory provision

  • Be a leader in understanding the needs of the market for Carbon reduction and all products meeting the lower carbon agenda in the UK

  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular technical market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Use insights to refine technical strategies and enhance product positioning.

    Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales and cementitious background or concrete products environment, with technical qualifications in line with the role requirements

  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cementitious products or concrete products, including their properties, applications, and performance characteristics, also in relation to their performance in reducing CO2 impacts. Experience in laboratory testing and quality management is highly desirable.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and the capacity to identify and address client needs.

  • Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external partners to achieve common goals.

    The Brett Group in a joint venture partnership with Nova Cement is establishing a cementitious products terminal in the UK at Sheerness in Kent. The new company will cater to the growing demand in the Southeast market.
