Full Job Description
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes with precision and creativity, adhering to standardized recipes and maintaining consistency in flavour and presentation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop innovative menu offerings that reflect seasonal changes and showcase the best of local produce.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Manage inventory levels and ordering to minimize waste and maximize efficiency in the kitchen.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment. - Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavour profiles.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
