A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Clinical digital leader to join our Chief Medical Office within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (ICB). The digital arena has never been as important for the NHS as it is now and there is strong commitment across Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB to develop the digital and data capabilities necessary to achieve our ambitions for our population.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board was established in July 2022 and is the statutory organisation responsible for setting the strategic plan for the NHS to deliver its part of the health and care strategy across the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System. The Integrated Care Board provides leadership and structure, acting as a system facilitator, leading on our strategic priorities and interventions, shaping the future system, planning, and executing on the common priorities.

Main duties of the job

This role will provide clinical and transformational leadership to the Digital, Data and Technology portfolio across the ICB and to the other clinical and care professional leads across the range of portfolio areas, ensuring the link between system, Place and delivery of digital and informatics development within the ICB.

The post holder will be an integral member of the Chief Medical Office team as well as part of the extended leadership team within the ICB. This challenging role requires an exceptional communicator who can build effective relationships across an organisation and wider system.

This opportunity is to work up to 5 sessions per week.

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, and working closely with the Chief Digital and Information Officer and Chief Nursing Information Officer, the Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) will take responsibility and accountability the strategic direction of Digital and Data technology design, implementation, and delivery.
