Civil Operative

As a Civil Operative you will be part of our Construction Team who are responsible for Civil Installations on Capital Projects.

As the Civil Operative you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining a safe site. You will need to complete all formwork and falsework under the supervision of a Ganger. You will need to be a proficient dumper operator. You will be responsible for the construction of concrete structures, chambers, ducting. You will need to be able to dig onto Anglian Water assets and conduct any necessary repairs.

Are you NRWSRA/Streetworks trained?
Are you a Dumper operative?
Have you got a a clean water hygiene card? This is preferred
Do you have a full UK Driving License?
Are you First Aid Trained? This would be great!
Are you Cat & Genny Trained?

• You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools.


• You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.


• You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.
