Full Job Description

We are delighted to invite applications for our next Clinical Director to lead the team at our thriving Greater Manchester practice.

As our Clinical Director, you will be responsible for the overall leadership of My Pets Vets and will work to drive forward clinical services, commercial performance, and team development. You will have a passion for delivering the best possible service and outcomes for patients, clients, and associates.

You might be an experienced vet ready to take the next step into leadership or an established Lead Vet or Clinical Director looking for a new challenge. Leadership development and support will be provided through your Primary Care Director, Field Medical Director and your regional Clinical Director peers. You will also have the opportunity to complete our formal leadership development programme.

Your role at My Pets Vets will be an exciting and varied one. You will be responsible for line managing the Lead Vets and senior leadership team at the practice and you will have dedicated leadership time built into your working week. Your clinical work will have a mixture of in-patient care time, surgery and consultations, and you will have the opportunity for case continuity and to build great rapport with our lovely clients.

Here at My Pets Vets, we have an outstanding, purpose-built, modern practice with space to develop and expand further as we continue to grow. We are well equipped with 7 consult rooms, digital x-ray, ultrasound machine, in-house lab, ECG, Dental x-ray, Physiotherapist led Hydrotherapy tank and more. We have a dedicated OOH team provided 24 hour on site care for our patients. We are a progressive RCVS accredited Veterinary Hospital site and are proud to have been awarded Gold ISFM cat-friendly clinic and Silver Rabbit Friendly status.

We have a dedicated team of 21 Vet Surgeons and 22 Veterinary Nurses. We are also supported by a fantastic front of house team, and senior management team.

In our vet team, we have medicine, ECC and exotics certificate holders, and we welcome all professional interests and are keen to support certificates wherever possible. You will be warmly welcomed into our team and will be joining a group of veterinary professionals who all work hard, enjoy a laugh and support each other daily. We genuinely enjoy our working days together and enjoy socialising together.

Along with an enthusiastic and fun team with high clinical standards, our aim is to provide the best possible veterinary care for our patients in a pleasant, friendly environment.
