The successful candidate will manage and deliver consistent and effective communications strategies for key projects and co-ordinate a broad range of stakeholder communication activities across media, public affairs, community relations and internal audiences.

In this role, you'll develop and implement strategic communications plans for projects with reputational risks and fantastic opportunities.

Your exceptional organisational skills will shine as you produce and manage detailed communications plans, ensuring seamless implementation with valuable recommendations.

As a skilled communicator, you'll be the liaison with a variety of stakeholders, managing relationships and influencing senior leaders, senior project managers and industry parties,

You'll also play a vital role in delivering Network Rail's internal communications program.

Attention to detail is essential, ensuring branding adheres to our corporate policy on branding and visual identity.

What essential skills and experiences are required?

We're seeking someone with first-hand experience in corporate communications, armed with impeccable writing abilities and a strategic mindset. As part of our team, you'll craft and execute communication plans for a diverse range of projects, always meeting deadlines and working with internal and external stakeholders. Your talent for influencing others and nurturing relationships, both within and outside the organisation, will be invaluable. Confidence is key here; we want someone who isn't afraid to take charge and drive results. While a degree is preferred, it's not a deal-breaker. Experience in project management and collaboration with agencies and suppliers would be advantageous, but above all, we're looking for someone with a passion for effective communication and a drive to make a meaningful impact.

Band & Salary: Band 4B: £35,582 - £40,029 per annum (dependent upon experience)
