Full Job Description
We are looking for a Community Liaison to help us establish a new Youth Theatre in Park Ward, Halifax!, We are looking to work with a Community Liaison, ideally based in or with knowledge of Park Ward, Halifax, who has experience in youth work and community engagement and can assist us in establishing a new weekly Youth Theatre in collaboration with the community.
The Community Liaison will assist with participant recruitment, communication with parents/carers and liaise with local partners., The VSI Alliance mailing list will receive a weekly e-bulletin with information around local organisations, jobs, funding and news. The list will also receive updates from time to time about the VSI Alliance, its partners and urgent newsflashes.
The essentials:
- Flexible working (home-working and in person in Halifax)
- Approx 20 hours per month May-July 2024, reduced to 5 hours per month August 2024-March 2025 once the Youth Theatre has been established
- £2,500 fee (£25 per hour), inclusive of VAT if applicable
