Full Job Description

Compile, collate, analyse and prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reports and packs, with recommendations regarding corrective actions, on behalf of the Credit Risk (SBO) Business Unit, for the Credit Risk Business Units and Committees, as well as individual Business Packs, per business unit and legal entity, to allow for effective and accountable decision making
Drive and manage the delivery of solving of identified focus ecosystems, New-to-Bank, inconsistent income and multi-banked customers by incorporating alternative data where the outcome are measured against the successful implementation Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) within the given timeframe, maintaining the Credit Loss Ratio within the set Risk appetite for new Portfolios, overall customer growth and additional revenue generated from the new solutions.
Facilitate, advice and support SBO Credit and Lending Teams across business units and legal entities regarding Test and Learn initiatives related to digital Credit Solutions, by guiding Teams in terms of Design Thinking principles and prototype development, within the digital and Cloud environment, and provide guidance with developmental initiatives where competency levels are lacking and shortcomings identified.
In conjunction with the Manager, and segment credit stakeholders, propose and draft strategic business direction, with operational development initiatives, of new digital lending solutions, through the establishment of a relevant credit risk appetite and Governance Framework.
Investigate, analyse and address digital lending solution data across SBO, to recommend and implement digital solution offerings and modernising traditional and non-traditional offerings, thus enhancing and strengthening the Bank's digital offerings.

First Degree in Analytics

Experience Required

Total number of years experience - 8 years

Risk & Corporate Affairs

1-2 years - Experience related to credit governance and risk management within the financial services or banking industries.

3-4 years - Building capacity and expertise related to analysing digital lending (financial) solutions, able to analyse, value and expanding and modernising traditional and non-traditional offerings.

5-7 years - Require experience of process development, integration and simulation of solutions. Knowledge of Cloud applications and language agnostics such as PYTHON, R, SAS. Experience in test and learn initiatives to modernise traditional and non-traditional offerings, in either financial services and/or banking.
