D Day 80 Event Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to help support with the D Day 80 events happening on Southsea Common on Wednesday 5th June.

The roles will include guiding visitors to the events on Southsea common, helping the public with any general questions and meet and greeting people.

Times available in shifts between 7.30am and 9pm, currently shifts are (but are subject to change):

Daytime:

7.30am - 11am

10.30am - 2pm

7.30am - 2pm

Evening:

6pm - 9pm

6pm - 10.30pm

Volunteers will need:

• being friendly and approachable


• working as part of a team


• handing out information when required


• dealing with queries from members of the public
  
  to be friendly


• to work as a part of the D Day 80 volunteer team


• to be passionate about Portsmouth


• to be able to physically stand for several hours
