Full Job Description
Perform demolition tasks, including dismantling structures, removing debris, and clearing sites
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery to complete assigned tasks
- Safely handle hazardous materials and follow proper disposal procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist with site preparation, including setting up barriers, fencing, and signage
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Follow blueprints, diagrams, and instructions to complete demolition projects
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Worker to join our team. As a Demolition Worker, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently demolishing structures and preparing sites for new construction projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires knowledge of various construction techniques and the ability to operate a range of tools and equipment., Previous experience in demolition or construction is esssential
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery
- Knowledge of carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, welding, painting, and roofing techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license is preferred
This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in various weather conditions. The successful candidate must be able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.
