Detention Custody Officer - Dover KIU

Being a Detention Custody Officer demands the people's skills, patience, resilience and professionalism to handle an ever-changing day. Previous experience of dealing with sensitively in a wide variety of people who have been agitated, confused or angry would be an advantage. Excellent problem-solving skills in addition to having the ability to keep calm under pressure will be key to developing your Care & Custody career.

You must have a UK passport or EU passport with Share Code, and have lived and worked in the UK for three years, with no extended trips overseas. You will also need to possess a full UK MANUAL CAR driving licence, with no more than 6 points - and have held this for 1 year, without this your application will not be considered.

-Salary £30,029.80 per annum; Contractual hours 42

-Full flexibility will be required as this is a 24- hour service, 365 days a year. Your rolling shift pattern will cover both days and nights
