Post Title: Early Years Specialist Classroom Teacher with responsibility for Early Years (TLR)

Responsible to: Headteacher

Salary: Career graded - MP1 - UP3 with TLR (2)

Early Years Specialist Classroom Teacher

After our recent positive Ofsted inspection in April 2024 where all aspects of the school were graded as Good, The Trust and the Headteacher of Alice Ingham Primary School are looking to appoint an EY Specialist for our caring, supportive and forward-thinking school.

The successful candidate will:

  • be inspirational with a passion for learning

  • be a practising Catholic or someone who will support the Catholic ethos of the school

  • have a full understanding of EYFS and the varying starting point of children

  • be an experienced, excellent classroom practitioner who has a commitment to high standards of achievement for all

  • lead other staff within the EY setting and inspire them to develop their own practice.

  • have a willingness to contribute to the further development of the school

  • inspire and challenge pupils to achieve their potential

  • have a willingness to undertake lunchtime supervision

  • have excellent numeracy and literacy skills

  • be a good communicator with a positive outlook
