Full Job Description

The Education Delivery Officer (EDO) will be responsible for the design and delivery of a large part of the Wilder Connections community engagement and learning programme which includes:

  • Primary and Secondary School Visits

  • Enrichment visits for school children with Pupil Premium, FSM and EH&C plans

  • Alternative Provision visits (in conjunction with the Alternative Provision Ranger (APR)

  • Community Group visits

  • Adult courses

  • Delivery of the above will involve a number of project partners, but particularly the partnership with the Lincoln Wildlife Trust (LWT), with DHCC and LWT jointly promoting and delivering school visits across the Doddington and Whisby (LWT) sites. There will therefore be a need for liaison at every level to ensure smooth administration and delivery of this joint venture. Working with our partners and the wider project team, the EDO will design appropriate activities to meet the needs of varying groups, and particularly schools and Enrichment groups.

The EDO will work in conjunction with the ELL and APR to develop networks and engagement opportunities with community groups, charities, schools and other educational, social care, mental health and community support providers. The EDO will ensure that the appropriate policies and procedures are followed, and that all engagement and learning activities delivered by Wilder Connections meet the standards set by Doddington Hall Conservation Charity. The EDO will also adhere to best-practice guidance on safeguarding and health and safety. Note that the appointment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

The project is being funded by a National Lottery Heritage Fund grant with additional support from Doddington Farms LLP and Anglian Water.
