Full Job Description

Elderly Befriender - Drivers (mileage paid 30p per mile) Cyclists and Walkers in some areas needed., This home care service with the personal touch is different to any other care organisation in the area, providing a minimum of 1 hour home visits to a predominantly private client base, but the focus being on companionship and loneliness prevention. Visiting time is far higher at about 90 minutes and our friendly and professional office team are sensible about travel time and distances as well so you'll be visiting clients within a pre-agreed area to suit you.

Flexible part time hours between 10-35 hours per week, working alternate weekends with your carefully matched circle of clients.

Supporting our clients to live happy, independent lives by providing:

  • Shopping Trips, Social Calls, Appointments, Clubs & Hobbies

  • Personal care (Washing, Dressing and Other Toileting Needs)

  • Household Tasks

  • Medication Support

  • Meal Preparation

    Care to Drink Tea and Eat Cake £14.01 - £14.85 per hour, guaranteed hours

    £12.50 Monday to Friday (£14.01 earned wage including holiday pay)

    £13.25 per hour on Weekends (£14.85 earned wage including holiday pay)
