Electrician

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment. including LV distribution, containment systems, lighting and small power.
- Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards or defects
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our rapidly growing team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. We would also be interested in sub-contract labour if this is preferred. Applicant would be expected to work away from home as and when required at a higher rate of pay with travel and accommodation included. Company van will be provided., Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role with industrial and commercial experience.

- our electricians are not micromanaged and must be able to think for themselves. They are given freedom to make decisions onsite this means applicant must be confident in their own ability and be pro-active to make necessary decisions.

- must be able to complete a job from start to finish. this would include receiving a scope of works and drawings from a project manager on original site set up and then being trusted to complete the project to a good standard, this would include ordering of their own day to day materials etc.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools and have a good range of their own tools.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and codes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license
