Full Job Description

  • ESR System expert and first point of contact for all system enquiries

  • Manage Inbox enquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner

  • Escalate enquiries and review issues with wider WIS Team

  • Manage and maintain ESR User Accounts in compliance with best practice

  • Develop training and guidance for end users using PowerPoint

  • Production of scheduled and Ad-hoc reports using Excel

  • Responsible for the smooth running of the ESR System end to end

    The Workforce Information & Systems Team currently manage the ESR System for ELHT with approximately 12000 employee staff records. We are an established team that provide a high standard of service for all end users.

    We have now taken over the management of the ESR System for the ICB and we have funding for a new team member to take on this new exciting role within our team.

    Detailed job description and main responsibilities

    Maintain ESR User Account access, create new user accounts and maintain existing user accounts ensuring that account holders have the appropriate system access.

    Manage the ESR System email inbox queries in a timely manner in line with the Service Level Agreement.

    Provide support to system users in functionality i.e. recording pay progress, annual leave, learning management courses.

    Maintain workstructures (system foundation) to ensure system functionality is set up to comply with national best practice.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and well -motivated member of staff who is a flexible team player.

    This role will manage and maintain the ESR System functionality on behalf of the Integrated Care Board (ICB), with a headcount of approximately 900 employees.

    You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to use your own initiative.

    Experience of working with ESR and Microsoft systems i.e. Excel and PowerPoint are essential to this role.,
  • Experience working on technical aspects of ESR system i.e. Workstructures, Hierarchy Management, OLM

  • Extensive Experience Customer Service

  • Experience of working with ESR data and producing reports

  • Experience in training face to face, remotely for system end users

  • Please note that the salary advertised is for full time hours. If this post is less than 37.5 hours per week, the salary will be pro-rata. For posts on Agenda for Change pay-scales, new entrants to the NHS will normally commence on the first pay point of the relevant band.

    In line with other NHS organisations in the North West Region, the Trust is now passing the charge for undertaking a DBS check on to candidates in the event they are successfully appointed into the post for which they have applied. Candidates can choose whether to pay this over 1-3 months as a deduction from the monthly salary.
