Estimator

Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project scope and objectives
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, subcontractors, and other project expenses
- Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
- Conduct site visits to gather information for estimating purposes
- Identify potential cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding project costs

ProGuard Exteriors are seeking an experienced Estimator/Surveyor to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project requirements and providing accurate cost estimates. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cost control and is detail-oriented. The job involves carrying out on site surveys for a variety of projects and then compiling the correct information to produce accurate estimates., Proven experience as an Estimator or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles and practices
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and blueprints
- Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and equipment
- Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
