Full Job Description

  • The successful candidate will have experience working in the following plants:


    • - Guillotine

    - Band saw

    - ARC & MIG welding experience (codings beneficial but not a necessity)
  • A TRADE TEST WILL BE REQUIRED

  • Previous experience in a similar role for at least 3 years

  • Good numerate and reading skills

  • Able to work from a technical drawing

  • Ability to work on their own or as part of a team A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to help out on non-welding tasks

  • Have your own hand tools

  • Must be confident at working in small confined spaces

    Metcraft are a mild steel tank manufacturing company and are looking for a skilled and experienced hard-working Welder/Fabricator to work in their factory in Sittingbourne, Kent

    £15 - £17 an hour - Permanent, Full-time, Regular Overtime (Salary expectations with overtime £40,000-£50,000)
