Fabricator / Welder

The TIG/MIG Fabricator Welder is responsible for producing high-quality welds and fabrications using both TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding techniques. The role involves reading engineering drawings, preparing materials, and ensuring the integrity and strength of the welds meet the required standards and client specifications. The TIG/MIG Fabricator Welder will work primarily with aluminum and stainless steel materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.,

• TIG/MIG Welding: Perform TIG and MIG welding on aluminium and stainless steel materials to produce high-quality welds and fabrications.


• Material Preparation: Prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, grinding, and fitting components as required.


• Reading Engineering Drawings: Interpret and follow engineering drawings to ensure accurate and precise weld placements and fabrications.


• Quality Inspection: Inspect welded joints and fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality standards and client specifications.


• Welding Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.


• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.


• Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly.


• Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve welding and fabrication techniques and processes to enhance efficiency and quality.


• Documentation: Record and document welding and fabrication activities, including materials used, weld settings, and inspection results.
  
  TIG and MIG Welding Expertise: Proficient in TIG and MIG welding techniques with a strong focus on producing high-quality welds and fabrications on aluminum and stainless steel.


• Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
