Full Job Description

I am a young grandmother who is looking for a calm and patient lady to help support me with day to day activities.
I have Fibromyalgia which causes a lot of pain but it is important for me to remain as independent as possible.
I enjoy a laugh and chat but also need someone who can give me a bit of reassurance and a push when I need it.
The role is for 4 hours per week to assist with showering, some help around home and getting out for activities such as swimming, shopping and sometimes appointments.
We have a large but friendly dog so you would need to be happy and comfortable with him being around.,

  • Medication prompting/administering

  • Personal grooming

  • Other relevant duties as required

  • Administration

  • Housekeeping

  • Shopping

  • Transportation

  • Companionship


  • Additional duties:
  • Support with showering

  • Washing hair and drying hair


  • Support to dress when needed

  • Filling dosette box and reminding to take meds

  • Short trips to shopping centre

  • Support to go swimming/hydrotherapy

  • Additional requirements
  • Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
