Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients in the field. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong problem-solving skills and excellent customer service.

Duties:

- Maintain, and repair plant machinery and equipment at client sites

- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance

- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, implementing effective solutions

- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical guidance

- Train clients on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures

- Document service activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology

NVQ in Plant Engineering or related field preferred

- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly on your feet

- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Willingness to travel frequently to client sites
