Full Job Description

  • Previous experience in fitting, carpentry, joinery or woodworking

  • Cosmetic decorating works, caulking etc

  • Replacement of building components. (metal work, wooden cladding etc)

  • Prepare internal doors with all fixtures and fittings

  • Clean and prepare the workspace ready for floor installation

  • Lay out underlay on a clean surface, ready for the installation of the floor

  • Lay the flooring using the correct method and flooring pattern

  • Prepare the walls ready for the addition of skirting/ architrave

  • Correct preparation and techniques to be used when fitting skirting/ architrave

  • Finishing the skirting with the appropriate sealant depending on its location within the building

  • Additional outstanding works to be finished that have been unable to be completed by install team. (This work may be varied in size and time depending on the task)

  • Confident and polite as this is a customer facing role

  • Confident with fitting doors, skirtings & architraves

  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety guidelines and procedures

  • Working knowledge of materials used in carpentry

  • Working knowledge of relevant tools & equipment

The company was formed in 2006 and has since installed over 13,000 buildings nationwide.

    Competitive rates of pay

  • Full time position, 40 hours per week Monday - Friday

  • Overtime weekly typically Monday - Friday (weekends on request)

  • 20 days holiday (plus all Bank holidays)
