Full Job Description

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. This role requires a proven track record in financial management and the ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of financial principles.

Key Objectives:

  • Process purchase invoices

  • Process sales invoices

  • Process goods received notes for direct deliveries to customers

  • Process bank reconciliations

  • Process expense claims

  • Process credit card payments from customers

  • Process all payments received, and all non-purchase ledger payments on ERP

  • Send monthly Customer Statements

  • Chase overdue debtors

  • Support Finance Director as required


  • Responsibilities required to meet Key Objectives:
  • Work closely with the Project Managers and keep the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planner) updated to ensure all details remain current to allow accurate invoicing and equipment tracking

  • Ensure the ERP is kept up to date with parts and price details and customer account issues

  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure all transactions are reconciled and invoiced/credited where applicable (including direct delivery and missing parts)

  • Work closely with Associates to ensure all sales and billing is kept current

  • Respond to customers' invoice queries

  • Ensure all finance documents are filed and stored correctly

  • Any ad hoc finance tasks that require attention to ensure accurate management accounts are produced


  • Ad hoc responsibilities
  • Support monthly payroll and submit monthly pension contributions report to company fund

  • Respond to customer queries both online and by telephone and respond as necessary

  • Manage the company postal process including equipment and post received/to be sent

    Be numerically astute, have excellent IT skills and be able to work as part of a professional team

  • Good people skills, having ability to work closely across all teams

  • Hands on and experienced in managing company accounts, having a solid background in finance

  • Practical experience of purchase order/receipt/invoicing processes

  • Project accounting and divisional reporting experience

  • Payroll processing experience (Sage 50)


  • Own transport is essential as our Horsham HQ is not on a train or bus route.

    Salary: From £40,000 - £50,000 package per annum based on experience & qualifications
