Full Job Description

10 hours per week

  • 37 weeks per year


  • We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable individual to support the delivery of food and textiles at St Swithun's.

    The food and textiles assistant will prepare lesson spaces by setting up equipment, weighing ingredients and cutting fabrics. They will also maintain tidy lesson spaces by cleaning, washing up and putting away resources. They will maintain proper food hygiene and training for this will be provided.

    This is a permanent, part time position for 10 hours per week. You will be expected to work 37 weeks per year (St Swithun's term time plus two weeks in the school holidays). The hours will need to be split over three or four days each week and flexibility is desirable because of changes to the lesson timetable each term.
