Full Job Description

We are looking for a gardener/horticulturist to join our team to assist on regular garden and grounds maintenance work, seasonal pruning/trimming of hedges and shrubs. The experienced gardener should be able to work as part of a team on larger projects, whilst also being able to work on their own on various different maintenance tasks.

  • Applicants must have at least 3 years experience in horticulture or soft landscaping.

  • Minimum of an RHS Level 2/3 or similar qualification OR a proven record of maintaining grounds to a high standard.

  • PA1/PA6 qualification would be an advantage.

  • Must be experienced in the use of petrol machinery such as ride on mowers, hedge-cutters and strimmers.

  • Have proven practical gardening/horticulture experience, as well as a strong knowledge of plants

  • Candidates must have a full driving licence. Preferably clean but accidents do happen.

  • Positive attitude towards whilst undertaking various roles.

  • Polite and considerate to a range of clients.

  • Need to be hard working in all weather conditions


    • Company uniform, PPE and tools will be provided. With a company van for travel to and from gardens and estates.
