Grounds Maintenance Operative

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Grounds Maintenance Operative (other job roles are available, e.g. Landscaping Operative). An understanding of seasonal ground maintenance is beneficial.

Tasks include cutting grass with ride on/push mowers and strimmers; pruning shrubs and trees with shears, hedge cutters, and chainsaws (if qualified); removal of weeds with herbicide and by hand; leaf and debris collection using blowers, vacuums, and our Schmidt Road Sweeper (skills permitting).

Travel to various locations within East Anglia in a Company vehicle from our Head Office in Welney (PE14 9RQ). Hours of work will be approximately 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with opportunity for overtime during the week and on Saturdays if available and desired.

Beneficial:

  Range from £10.50 to £12.50 per hour depending on age, experience, and qualifications (overtime rate is time and a half). Salary will be discussed upon interview.
