Handy Person / Interiors Installer / Fitter

We are recruiting someone whose primary role will be to fit and measure Curtains, Shutters and Blinds. Our showroom is based in Kendal, we regularly cover the South Lakes and North Lancs, and further afield should the customer request.

Primarily we require someone for the installation and measuring of products.

Experience of using hand tools and fixings into walls is essential. Ideally the candidate will have experience of installing blinds, curtain tracks and a good knowledge of all types of fixings. However full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

· Installation of window dressings in customer's homes / businesses.

· Keep van and related tools stocked, clean & tidy

· Prepare workload for following day ensuring you have all the relevant information and stock

. Measuring for bespoke products whilst in customers' homes and relaying information to the office team for quoting.

Friendly and professional approach with excellent interpersonal skills.

Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage a range of tasks enthusiasm and willingness.

Full Clean British driving licence.

Good knowledge of hand tools and fixings into walls.

Ability to take accurate and clear measurements

Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as part of a small busy team.

CSCS card working, working at heights would be an advantage but not essential.

Basic health & safety knowledge.
Van, tools and insurance provided.
