Head of Performing Arts (Drama Specialist)

We have an exciting opportunity for a committed and inspirational teacher to lead our Performing Arts Department onto the next stage in its development. We are looking for either an experienced Head of Performing Arts or a Teacher of Drama looking for their next career move. You will have excellent subject knowledge and understanding of current curriculum ideology, as well as a strong presence in the classroom and proven success with respect to outcomes. You will use your knowledge and experience to ensure success for the Department and that this continues to grow and embed.

The successful candidate will make a strong contribution to increasing capacity at a leadership level to meet the future needs of the Department. The role also provides leadership development experience that will be grown within United Learning Trust.

You will work to support the SLT in achieving the growth of the department and subject. This important role is designed to provide the successful candidate with a range of career-enhancing opportunities to develop an existing skill set whilst offering you support to prepare you for future next steps in your leadership journey.
