Full Job Description

  • Head of PMO experience

  • comfortable working onsite in Reading for 3 days per week

  • experience embedding project and programme management tools (e.g. Smartsheets or something like MS Project)

  • experienced at monitoring and distributing project managers' workload

  • experienced in being ring-holder for programme management, including developing and monitoring the critical path.

  • experience and understanding of developing HMT5 business cases would be advantageous.

    Paying £35.04/hr + pro rata 25 days per year paid holiday (worth £4.8/hr) + we pay your Employer's NI (worth ~ £5.50/hr) giving a like for like umbrella company hourly total of £45.34/hour


    • 3 days per week working on site in Reading, 2 days per week working from home

    Duration is 6 months (but likely to be extended and in fact a good chance it will be offered Permanent at some point after the initial 6 months)

    Head of Programme Delivery to provide strong leadership and line management to our PMO team during key business case development phases, NHS professionals is owned by the Department for Health to provide interim recruitment solutions to the NHS

    Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract
    Contract length: 6 months

    Pay: £38.00-£45.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 37.5 per week
