Full Job Description

As the Head of Property for De Vere you will work closely with the onsite Property Maintenance Managers and senior management teams ensuring a planned and structured approach to property management is being followed within each of our properties. You will;

  • Be responsible for ensuring the De Vere property estate is well maintained and a proactive schedule of activity is developed to ensure its ongoing development, considering budget implications.

  • Ensure strong relationship with external contractors, including 3rd party energy consultants, to get the best value and best service possible across the De Vere estate.

  • Ensure statutory compliance duties are completed and best practice is shared across the maintenance teams, raising the skill level and knowledge of these teams, and ensuring regular communication.

  • Monitor and introduce where relevant training for all maintenance personnel across the estate.

  • Act as the Groups environmental & energy "champion" - driving change through the business to ensure we fully embrace all opportunities to improve our carbon footprint and sustainability initiatives.

    You can demonstrate significant experience at a senior management level across all functionalities within property, R&M, engineering and facilities within a multi-site role and hotel company

  • You have strong communication and influencing skills, which are key for this role

  • You are meticulous in your work, exacting in your standards and passionate about providing the best possible guest experience

  • You have project management experience overseeing high level investment refurbishments, reducing energy consumption and driving sustainability

  • This is a group role, so extensive travel will be required to cover our portfolio, with regular and strong links to our Central Support Office hub in Old Windsor.
