Health Care Assistant

We are looking for a hair transplant technician. No previous experience required as all training will be provided.

Candidates should be willing to train in all aspects of FUE (Follicular unit Extraction) surgery. Technicians will be working alongside the lead surgeon and will be supervised at all times. The technicians role will be client facing and so an exceptional level of customer service and professionalism is required.

Training requirements:

Candidates must be willing to undergo a full time 3 week PAID training period. 1 week of said training will take place in the lead clinic near Leeds (Yorkshire) and the next 2 weeks to take place in the clinic in question in Beaconsfield (Buckinghamshire). Candidates MUST be able and willing to travel to Leeds for this 1 week training period, accomodation will be reimbursed.

A trial day may also be available prior to starting.

Day to day responsibilities:

· Set up and cleaning of the treatment rooms on the morning of surgery

. Setup & preparation of all surgical instruments and other equipment needed for the procedure

· Prepare clients for procedure including shaving of donor area

· Graft extraction using forceps under surgeons guidance

· Graft counting, sorting and seperating under a microscope

. Routine observations of the patients and thorough documentation

· Ensuring patient comfort throughout the procedure

· Careful implantation of the grafts under surgeons guidance

. Working alongside a team of other technicians as well as the lead surgeon in order to complete the procedure

Working Hours:

. 8am - 6pm. Technicians must stay until surgery is complete

. Initially work will be part time (2-3 days a week) with days to be agreed

Profficiency in written and spoken english is essential for this role as well as good communication.

Must have a steady hand. Previous experience in beauty/ hairdressing/ cosmetics is desirable.
