HGV Vehicle Delivery Driver

Part of a small team based in Watton, Norfolk you will deliver and collect vehicles using our 7.5T flat bed trucks, sometimes towing a trailer. You will have close involvement with our customers and will need to explain to them how to safely use our UTVs as well as completing paperwork with them. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and exceptional customer service.,

• Securely loading UTVs onto our vehicles and trailers


• Demonstrating the safe use of our vehicles to customers when you deliver them


• Complete vehicle condition reports and agree them with customers on delivery and collection


• Plan routes and schedules to optimize delivery efficiency and meet deadlines.


• Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.


• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.


• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any issues to management.


• Provide exceptional customer service, including assisting with unloading goods and addressing any delivery concerns.


• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, both internally and externally.
  
  Valid HGV driving license (Category C or C+E). Drive 7.5T vehicle towing 3.5T trailer (no 107 restrictions)


• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.


• Digital tachograph card


• Experience with electronic logging devices and GPS navigation systems.


• Previous experience as an HGV delivery driver or similar role.


• Clean driving record with no major violations.


• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.


• Excellent driving skills, including the ability to maneuver large vehicles in various conditions.


• Ability to lift and move heavy goods, sometimes using manual handling equipment.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.


• Flexibility to work irregular hours, as needed.
