Full Job Description

Main location - this is a fully mobile role covering the UK. You will need to be able to attend our offices in Salford, Manchester regularly.

Regular hours of work - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - 40 hour working week. Whilst this is our company standard working week, our clients require "out of hours" maintenance so early starts/late finishes & night works are to be expected.,

  • Managing install projects from quotation, pre-construction, construction phase, testing, and commissioning.

  • Ensuring project deliverables are agreed and achieved.

  • Conduct material take offs and ensure that all necessary equipment, materials, plant and equipment, are accounted for and arranged in order to fulfil the project programme.

  • Coordinate labour and resource in order to adhere to project programme.

  • Support technical aspects of project and liaise directly with the design team to ensure compliance.

  • Provide out of hours assistance subject to the requirements of the premises and clients

  • Surveying for new equipment installation

  • Stakeholder management - Liaise with the client, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the contractual agreements.

  • Supporting clients nationally and attending client sites across mainland UK

  • Develop and maintain positive and constructive client relationships

  • Attending stakeholder meetings as required

  • Provide technical and value engineering for clients based on project potential

  • Regular commercial review of project performance, ensuring that variations are submitted where required, and milestones are billed proactively.

  • Control project budgets and seek to maximise savings where able.

  • Providing clear and thorough quotes, and ensuring that prices are up to date, relevant and reflect the current market.

  • Compile and complete Risk Assessment Method Statements for projects in a timely manner and ensuring that all hazards have been accounted for.

  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure SHEQ standards and timeframes are met.

  • Collation of all relevant information and documentation to ensure O&M manuals are submitted and warranties are in place

  • Act as point of escalation for engineers during a project lifecycle.

  • Ensure Engineers are formally briefed and prepared for projects and sites with any relevant

  • Liaise with office-based staff, engineers, and subcontractors

    At least 3 years operating as a Project Manager in the FM sector. Whether Building Services, HVAC, or M&E

  • Experience delivering projects in line with CDM regulations.

  • Experience with managing a Project budget and P&L for an annual account of £1m+

  • Evidence of working on several projects simultaneously in and delivering them all on time and to the expected standard

  • SMSTS and CSCS card.

  • Full UK driving license


  • Desirable:
  • Technical qualification HNC or above

  • Experience working with JCT Minor works + and / or NEC level 3 + contracts.

  • Formal Project Management qualification (Prince2, Agile, APMQ)

  • Previous experience as an installation engineer

  • HVAC compliance qualifications (F-GAS / Gas SAFE)
