Full Job Description

As Hyundai & Genesis Parts and Technical Escalations Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing the resolution of complex technical issues related to vehicles across both brands and managing escalations from the customer service teams.
You will be responsible for coordinating with various departments to ensure efficient solutions and customer satisfaction.

What will I be doing?
+ Lead in the Parts in Focus (PIF) meetings and make key decisions to move VOR cases forward.
+ Run and review the daily back-order report, with a view to proactively satisfy backorders using available sources including network stock, other assembly items and doner processes.
+ Review all cases relating to customer buybacks, including those where parts supply is not available.
+ Liaise with HMUK Parts, Technical, Quality & Warranty teams with all current and outstanding customer related VOR cases.
+ Field visits to customers and Authorised Repairers to investigate, diagnose and rectify concerns using Hyundai/Genesis technical methods
+ Support Technical Training Centre with updated training methods
+ Ability to diagnose all powertrains including EV with the required industry approved Technical Accreditations
+ Manage and agree Customer Services supplied Goodwill and process all claims through internal systems in conjunction with the warranty team and factory supplied goodwill budgets and policy
+ Lead, support and liaise with Campaigns and Quality Engineer on any customer escalated and potential safety related cases

+ Hyundai/Genesis technical knowledge at OEM level
+ Experience of repair Hyundai/Genesis vehicles
+ Motor vehicle service & repair experience
+ Motor vehicle fault diagnosis experience and supporting PC operating systems preferably within the Hyundai/Genesis brand
+ Customer focused with the ability to translate complex technical information clearly and concisely in a professional manner
+ Able to demonstrate (hands on and verbally) knowledge of the motor industry
