Infrastructure Engineer

To operate and maintain core Infrastructure technology platforms including Microsoft Windows server and associated software ecosystem, Unix and Linux operating systems, associated server and storage platforms.

• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken to work with stakeholders internally and externally.


• Will be required to work out of Hours On-Call 1 in 5


• Technical expertise who can keep calm under pressure


• Willing to keep up to date with advances in technology in this fast-changing area.


• Ability to work to strict deadlines.


Do you have what we're looking for?

• Significant expertise in installation, configuration, administration, patching, upgrade, and problem resolution in a range of the following technologies: Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019 and Active Directory, DNS and DHCP services, Configuration Management (MECM 2019), Microsoft Exchange Hybrid environment,


• Edge technologies including Netskope, Wallix , RDS and Web Application Proxy


• Expertise in Microsoft O365 platform, supporting Teams, OneDrive/SharePoint, and associated applications.


• Extensive experience with VMware's vSphere/Nutanix virtualisation technologies


• Good understanding of core network principles


• Hands on experience of HP server and storage hardware including blade systems, Virtual Connect and 3Par storage platform.


• Experience of Infrastructure as a Service providers such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform
