Full Job Description

  • Creating packaging artwork for Croydex and customer own brand products, to include final print ready files

  • Digital retouching/cutting out in Photoshop

  • Work alongside Graphic Designer to create POS for Croydex/Customer Own Brand

  • Artworking and production work such as converting picture files in photoshop, updating packaging, amending sales promotion sheets, amending pricing in literature etc

  • Assist the Graphic Designer with the design and production of regular marketing and communication materials using good, eye-catching and consistent designs

  • Maintaining graphics files on the server

  • Implement corporate identity and uphold brand values; work to a brief and within the parameters of the brand guidelines

  • Prepare projects for litho/digial print

  • Create mock ups of packaging

  • Aid the Graphic Designer on large scale projects

    Ideally a graduate with a 2:1 or above in Graphic Design or other relevant qualification.

    • At least 1 years' experience in a similar role.

    Software Knowledge:
  • Illustrator

  • Indesign

  • Photoshop

  • Adobe Acrobat

  • Word

  • Excel

  • Working knowledge of 3D software advantageous but not essential

  • Any web design software advantageous but not essential

  • Mac Experience essential, The ideal candidate will be a team player, working alongside and supporting the Graphic Designer

  • Punctual, polite and able to communicate with various levels of staff

  • Capable of building and maintaining strong, respectful and effective partnerships with the many internal departments with whom Marketing work to complete projects

  • Knowledge of print process

  • The ability to take a project from brief through to artwork

  • Effective project management, taking responsibility for individual projects from concept through to print

  • Must be meticulous when it comes to attention to detail

  • Creative - must have artistic flair and have an eye for design

  • Ability to multi-task/Stability under pressure - reacts well to change and stays positive despite setbacks

  • Flexible - maintains effectiveness in a fast moving and/or changing environment and with varying tasks, responsibilities or people

  • Self-motivated - must be able to work unsupervised

  • Able to stick to deadlines, Bachelor's (preferred), Graphic design: 2 years (preferred)
