Junior QS / Administrator

We are seeking a motivated Junior QS / Administrator to join our team. You will work closely with our senior estimator and project managers to prepare accurate and competitive bids for fire protection projects. • Analyse project specifications and drawings to determine materials, labour, and equipment requirements.


• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.


• Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for groundworks projects.


• Assist in the review and negotiation of contracts.


• Maintain accurate records of project costs and expenses.


• Support project managers in the planning and scheduling of work activities.


• Support the renewal of sector certifications and contractor PQQ requirements.


• Support with the production of O&M manuals at the end of each project.
  
  Minimum of 1 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a similar estimating role.


• A understanding of construction methods.


• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and word.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., A-Level or equivalent (preferred), Quantity surveyor: 1 year (required)
