Full Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator you will be Responsible for the smooth execution of all Pan European loads, this will be a achieved efficiently and in accordance operating procedures ensuring, with both internal and external communication with customer contacts and the network of approved hauliers., Status Tracking:

  • Pro-active monitoring and checking of Vision-I (tracking and status), reporting any issues or delays to the customer in advance.

  • Liaise with carriers to resolve in-transit issues

  • Report tracking issues to the business effectively and resolve accordingly

  • Booking in collections/deliveries


  • Process and Documentation:
  • Support and recommend process changes as necessary

  • Ensure that transit documentation required by the driver is made available at the earliest opportunity.

  • Report and track all open T-Forms


  • Communication:
  • Provide clear and timely communication of deviations to proposed routing plans - notifying sites in advance

  • Communicate with internal and external Stakeholder.

  • Report / escalate poor haulier performance as necessary


  • Cost and System:
  • Ensuring system data is up to date and accurate within the agreed timelines and debrief in line with the operating procedure

  • Cost awareness and impact, accountable for meeting both individual and Ops KPI target


  • Teamwork:
  • Working effectively within a team, sharing relevant information as necessary providing operational support to other team members as required

  • Work with various teams within the business, such as Compliance and Finance

    Relevant experience:

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills

  • Transport management systems awareness

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet the deadlines

  • Good IT skills -MS office and excel

    We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator (6 months Fixed term contract) to based at our site in Marston Gate (MK43 0YL) with a potential move to our Northampton site (NN4 5FB) by the end of May 2024/beginning of June 2024 This role involves remote work of up to 3 days per week (Subject to Business Requirements).

    This is a Fixed term contract position offering a salary of £29,625 to (depending on experience) The working scheduling is predominantly a Monday - Friday working 8:00 till 17:00., 25 days' holiday (in addition to the bank holidays) and an option of 5 days Volunteering Leave annually
