related fieldRecognized engineering apprenticeship e.g. City & Guilds/ BTEC Level 3 or equivalentGood level of numeracy and literacyGood level of IT skillsPrevious ExperienceUnderstanding, of Siemens NX environments - CAD, CAM, Modelling and DraftingSetting & operating 5 axis machine centre'sVertical 5 axis machine centres - Matsuura & Mazak would be idealMazak Intergrex experienceAerospace or Oil & Gas background favourableIn process inspection techniquesKnowledge of industry standard measuring/ inspection techniquesPC DMIS knowledge advantageousExperience of machining Aluminium & Stainless fabricationsHigh level of understanding of adaptive machining - Renishaw probingOther SkillsStrong communication skillsAttention for detail.Good housekeeping - working knowledge of CORE / LEAN methodologies.Good Teamwork skillsAbility to self-manage.Ability to work to strict & demanding deadlines.Willing to work shifts and flexibility to meet changing demandsCommitment to continuous
