Mechanical Design Engineer

To maintain and update the drawing library in line with customer, development and production requirements using Autodesk Vault and Autodesk Inventor. To maintain the Master Data in SAP with regard to bills of materials and object linked documents. To manage change requests and new product data within the requirements of ISO9001. To support the development of new products required to grow the business., 1. Maintain the existing drawing library and update as necessary.

2. Manage drawing control in line with the requirements of ISO9001

3. Support production change requests, liaising with customers/suppliers and internally as required.

4. Ensure that SAP master data is updated as required

5. Lead or participate in cost reduction activities and new tooling developments.

6. Produce customer specific drawings as required.

7. Manage the CAD system and update as necessary.

8. Assist with product range management, customer facing CAD models and marketing material.
