Monday early shift 7.5T Delivery Driver / Courier

We are currently looking to add to our team of 7.5T delivery drivers. We have an immediate vacancy for a Monday early shift driver. Other ad-hoc shifts may be available during the week.

Driving our 7.5T vehicles, you will work independently, but also be safe in the knowledge that everything you do is supported by your "ACE" colleagues.

Becoming one of our drivers is more than just travelling from A to B. You'll play a crucial role in enabling us to deliver a cost effective, timely and efficient service to our customers. Our drivers and customers are at the heart of everything we do!,

• Carry out vehicle checks at the start and end of your shift


• Liaise with our office based operations team, who will help ensure your collection and delivery are performed without issue


• Help us maintain our vehicles by making sure they are kept clean and tidy inside and out
  
  You will live in the Derby/Nottingham/Loughborough area and have your own transport


• Enjoy driving and hold dedicated delivery driving experience


• You will be a reliable, confident and courteous driver, not fazed by long distance driving


• Enthusiastic, flexible and friendly with the willingness to go that extra mile


• Be able to present a current C1 driving licence (or higher) with no more than 6 penalty points


• Be the holder of both valid Tacho and Driver CPC cards, Detail where you have driven 7.5T or larger vehicles ....


• Where and when have you have done long distance deliveries in the past ....


• Have you been banned from driving in the last 10 years?


• Driving licence - is your licence current, valid for 7.5t (C1) or higher and shows no more than 6 points?


Experience:

• Driving a Goods Vehicle: 1 year (preferred)


• Car driving: 8 years (required)
  
  Permanent role from the very start


• Working every Monday, starting @ 03:30


• PAYE position paying £13.50 per hour


• Zero hours contract but we will have work for you every Monday (except Bank Holidays).


• Single collection and delivery, no handball
