Full Job Description
Previous experience in the building trade and possession of tools and a valid UK licence will be required.
- Perform skilled tasks in various areas of construction, including but not limited to:
- Framing
- Concrete work
- Carpentry
- Masonry
- Roofing
- Plumbing
- Electrical work
- Finish work
- Manage deliveries
- Oversee Labourers on the project as well as some skilled handyman duties.
- To carry out any labouring/cleaning duties as requested
- To attend such training and Health and Safety courses as may be required from time to time.
- To assist in control of waste management and recycling initiatives.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Additional responsibilities/ad hoc duties as required
- Good time keeping essential
- Self-employed and PAYE options available
- Own tools preferred
Works will vary from general works. The applicant should have performed skills in joinery, structural, brickwork. Plumbing and electrical are preferred but not essential.
